Instead of using diesel-burning engines, many ports nowadays started to install shore power connections at berth to provide electricity to ships' lights, pumps, communication and other devices. This greatly reduces pollution from vessels, lowers emissions of CO2, and eliminates noise from engines. The shore power converter utility power to 440V or 6600V, and needs to have outstanding level of protection bear the harsh outdoor environment.

The BPS series is a family of high performance Shore Power Supply developed to be used at shipbuilding, berths and ships. Installed in a customized container, it provides reliable output voltage of 440V or 6600V and output frequency of 50 or 60Hz with overload capability. With protection level up to IP54, the BPS series can operate under environment with high level of humidity, heat and corrosion.
