High Performace Programable AC Power Source for Renewable Energy

  Preen's AFV-P Series is a programmable AC power source with DC output and precision measurements. This compact power source comes in four power levels, 600VA, 1250VA, 2500VA and 5000VA, providing clean power with distortion less than 0.3% at 50/60Hz. The AFV-P series can deliver output voltage from 0 to 310VAC and frequency from 40 to 500Hz (Opt. 15 to 1000Hz). It is ideal for commercial, defense and aerospace test applications from design verification, quality assurance, ATE to mass production.

  Different research & compliance Institutes may have different power requirements, such as power conversion or power conditioning. As the demands of automatic test steadily grow, requirements for power supply with programmable function are increasing rapidly as well.

  AC power sources or frequency converters are widely used in home appliance industry to provide quality power source and simulate different voltage and frequency for export or compliance test purposes. They have become an indispensable instrument in R&D and production phases.
  Before being exported, home appliances need to be tested under voltage and frequency that are different from the grid. AC and DC power supply for Aerospace & Defense

  For the aerospace and military type applications, 400Hz AC and 28VDC are common specifications, but due to the ever-changing technology, 800Hz AC and 270V DC are now the new standards for aerospace markets. Different from commercial applications, power supply for military and aerospace not only need to provide quality power, but also have to follow MIL-STD-704F standard and handle harsh working environment.
  The ground power units supply aircrafts power converted from the utility power to 400HZ or 800Hz for inspection and maintenance purposes. Preen's AFV-P Series is a programmable AC power source with DC output and precision measurements. AFC series AC Power Source

The AFC Series is an economically priced AC power source to provide reliable voltage and frequency simulation for general applications, such as testing for home appliance, electronic, medical equipment, lighting and other fields of production or R&D.

 

Utilized PWM switching technology, AFC provides high quality pure sine waveform with output level up to 2,000kVA. The AC source is coupled with output voltage range of 5~300V and output frequency of 47~63Hz, 50/60Hz fixed. User can select optional frequency output of 2 or 4 times standard frequency and 400Hz.

PWF series Programmable Wide Frequency AC Power Source

The PWF series is a family of programmable AC power source with wide range of adjustable frequency, developed for aerospace or military’s 400Hz and 800Hz test applications, such as lab use, compliance test, and quality assurance.

 

The PWF series consists of L series and M series, which have different output frequency range. L series provides 45~500Hz and 0~300V output, and M series provides 300~800Hz and 0-150V output. Users can select communication interfaces of RS-485, RS-232, and optional GPIB. The PWF series also have programming sequence functions of STEP and GRADUAL modes, three phase independent control, phase angle control, and disturbance function. 。

PFV series Regenerative AC Power Source

The PFV series is the latest programmable AC power source with four-quadrant regenerative function to return energy back to the grid. Applications include testing on motor, compressor, vehicle to grid (V2G), generator and others that requires energy feedback.

 

With power level up to 200kVA, the PFV series provides output voltage range of 0~300V and output frequency of 45~65Hz. Users can select communication interfaces of standard RS-485 and RS-232 and optional GPIB, LAN, and USB. The PFV series also have programming sequence functions of STEP and GRADUAL modes, three phase independent control, phase angle control, disturbance function and regenerative function.
